it took me until 4 years ago to tell my family I decided to be wiccan.. I haven't been happy with the Christian religion since I was younger but didn't want to distress my family. then I realized it was doing more damage to myself by not being myself.

In my opinion you have to find the church that's right for you. Try different ones until it clicks. I did and I haven't been happier in my life. My church family is amazing. My pastor always sends me messages or comes by to check on me. He even did mine and my husbands pre marriage counseling and it built our relationship even stronger.

@wiccanmommy, sorry girl that's gotta be rough. In my church, they also kinda have the attitude that you shouldn't just try to find a church where you feel comfortable-you should go where they worship by the book, even if you're miserable there. :(

I changed churches and I'm so happy I did. My last church was full of overly judgemental people, there weren't many children for my daughter to play with, and when my skull was broken and I was stuck in bed for months no church members offered any form of assistance. I'm much happier with my new church family. Have you looked at other churches? There may be a better fit just around the corner.

Not yet @dawnsurvivor because I'm not sure exactly what I believe right now. Same for my husband.

It can be hard to drop\change churches, so now is a good time to do it. Your family (I'd hope) would understand you not going while pregnant, and then after you're "just too busy and worn out" from the baby. It can give you time to figure out what you believe and if you even want to find another church. I love the community of church, but I don't agree with any religion 100%. My husband and I agree on how we feel about it, and jokingly call ourselves "universalists". We think there is something bigger out there, we just don't think its a big ol' bearded man in the clouds.

I can understand this totally and I went to many different churches myself and never felt like I belonged and it wasn't for me but I have to say I finally found my church home & it isn't where all my family was going and is even a different denomination than I grew up with. As soon as I walked in though... I felt something I had never felt before. I've been here over 10 years now and I am so much better for it and have a church family that I can depend on too! Don't give up trying to find where YOU belong and only for you ❤️

I'd unfriendly them. I hate when people stalk my page lol. and I hope they don't break their hearts from a social media page.

@renny_rayye16, it would because they really do love my boy, and that would be the only way they see him now. It's kind of like they're extended family. When I said stalk, I only meant that they keep up with every post and comment pretty frequently.
