Should I Convince My Husband to Have a Baby Shower for Our Last Baby?

I don't have family to do it and my fiances family isn't to happy were having a baby

It's usually like a brunch/tea party where you can invite your friends and family to come meet the baby after they are born. Not as big event as a shower but in my experience most people will bring a small gift for baby or meal for the new mother to have and it's really nice. I plan to do them for my 2nd and 3rd child.

Have a "sip and see" after baby is here. Everyone can meet the little one and will most likely bring a small gift anyway. I know I can't resist baby shopping!!!

@babytj0214, my husband doesn't want a shower either because he thinks no one will come. So I decided to throw him a surprise shower. I am in the same situation as you as far as his children. He has one 13 year old who is extremely ungrateful and he lives with us. I want him to go live with his mother so bad!!

A lot of European country celebrate when baby born . They believe you protecting the baby this way 😊 . Maybe it's not a bad idea will be celebrate your baby no matter watt before or after .

I know! I guess people assume next baby will just get hand me downs. I know you said you don't want a baby shower for the gifts, but that's what most people think of for baby showers.... Maybe you can throw a celebration party and tell people no gifts, please. I'm sure your husband will agree to it then!

I'm a soon-to-be FTM, so I don't know the etiquette rules on baby showers, but I was told they were only supposed to be for your first baby? And every baby after that can have a "meet and greet" type of thing after the baby is born, but not another shower? Maybe your husband heard the same idea someone told me! haha. Good luck anyway :)

Just tell him since its your last that you want to have the full experience. That you will never have again. N tell him how you feel. ! N hey if still says no say okay than I can do it with the next one 😉😂?
