Well I mopped and began scrubbing the floors in my laundry room today to try to induce labor. No such luck, so now I'm just worn out and can barely stand. To top it off, my cat has a huge open wound on her side that I didn't notice until today. Poor thing has probably been in horrible pain for days. I had to hold her down and bandage it so she'd stop licking it, then put a coat on her so she wouldn't tear the bandage off. I can't take her to the vet until Monday and honestly I'm not sure I can afford to! My husband's unemployment hasn't come in and we have a hundred dollars to make it until it does... 😨😨😨😨

I just don't know how an open wound like that can close without stitches. :\ I'm going to look to see if there are some of those charity pet programs within reasonable distance of where I am. @abeals04
Try keeping an eye on it if it starts to show signs of an infection then take her in
The nearest large town is only 12,000 people. Only two vets, both charge what they want. :\ @lalamichelle0707. She isn't bleeding, just an open wound. Its almost scarier because she isn't bleeding! @abeals04
Try the humane society or a low cost clinic. Banfield also has care credit
@abeals04, I cleaned it as best I could and used triple antibiotic on the bandage. But she's licked it open to quarter size down to muscle. :\
Do you have Neosporin and hydrogen peroxide 3% you can use those to clean the wound and just bandage it up like you did both are safe for cats

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
