your milk doesn't come in until the baby comes. you may leak colostrum throughout your pregnancy, you may not. everyone is different.

@mimiz, we're you able to still breastfeed, did your baby take the breast over bottle?

You get colostrum before your full milk comes in, and that's plenty to keep baby full until then @cjones

My baby is in NICU they gave me options since it didn't come in right away I put her on the very next day she had some colostrum and her extra feeding they give now I'm producing a bit more not enough but we have back up she isn't on bottle yet since she's preemie we have to work up to all that just taking it step by step atleast she's breast feeding which is important to me

I've always gotten mine day 4 ur baby isn't technically hungry until the time it comes in colostrum is good enough the more u nurse the faster it comes in
