I did and she thinks I can come up with invites in a hour on my cricut without telling me time or how she wants them to look with colors and such. She wasn't even going to tell me about the shower but decided to in case I had plans that day (this was two weeks ago) I told her to make a Facebook event so she could invite my friends and have a place for others to be reminded; well that hasn't happened yet either.

she is suppose to get help from her friend (who's in Mexico until the week before the shower) mil came to saying she needed to get invited out and I told her I would help but then she walked off. There is no trying to fix the situation.

At least she is trying to throw you one. My mil isn't even going to try... She's punishing me and her son's unborn baby for something that happened with his ex 6 years ago. I'm having to throw my own and the place we wanted fell through so my friend got us a place but can't get it until a few weeks before I'm due.

your right she is trying only because my mom and sister threw my first son's baby shower. What that's not right at all. I was going to throw my own in July about two weeks before I was due; but we will see. I just still might because my family lives 2-3 hours away and I'm not traveling in July at all. @tvaine2016

Yea apparently my fiancé's ex's family and friends never showed except for one person and apparently she (the one who did show) acted like she threw the shower when she had nothing to do with it. So because of that I have to throw my own shower because I don't have any family... I can't imagine what it's like to have your family live so far away... I also don't really know what it's like to have family either tho.. All I know is I would never do this to my kids or their significant others

that's crazy. my sisters bfs family did that to her baby shower only his mom, dad and grandmother's showed up. Then they threw a shower for my sister two weeks later with their family; it was quiet screwed up when I rented the biggest hall around their area for both families to have one shower. I was pissed but it's done and over with and I love my little peanut of a niece. No it's not hard, I like not having them up my ass all the time and I don't talk with them much either only when it's time to go down for a week for my oldest to spend time with his Nana. @tvaine2016

I gotta say that's actually so sweet ..maybe juzt let her then just remind her you're ready to lend a hand if in case she needs some ..I'm jealouse;)
