They say I'm 16 weeks but I can see and feel baby kick — need a new doctor?

you very well could be 16 weeks of they've done an ultrasound they know how far you are round about

ultrasound looks like 18weeks

and why would baby kick like that

Did they say the ultrasound looked like 18 weeks? Babies start moving pretty early on, and some moms can see/feel it sooner than others @brandyi87

the ultrasound tech said 16weeks which was two weeks ago but doctors say he's measuring 20 weeks today so I'm confused

My babies always measure a few weeks ahead. I just have big babies. (My 5 yr old was 10lbs)

this is my first so I guess that is why I'm confused we tried for five years. now we are finally pregnant and confused lol.

Measuring ahead isn't an indication of being further along without other info, like the baby being further developed on ultrasound etc. I measured ahead for two appts, then my last one I measured exactly right. So I'd go with the due date they gave you unless your doc says otherwise :)

stick with the 16 weeks unless they officially change your gestational age and due date in your charts, measuring ahead is common and they know what they're doing 👍 doesn't mean you can't see or feel baby movement but you could also be just very in tune with your body which isn't a bad thing. it doesn't mean you'd be further along, their judgement of gestational age is most accurate earliest on so the original is most likely correct. you also have about 3 or the days give or take from the age they say you're at so you could be up to 5 days further but definitely not a whole 2-4 weeks lol.

some times baby move early mines did and ultrasounds are pretty accurate I act like I forgot my menstrual they told me my due date and everything it was correct@brandyi87 I put them to the test
