I liked my graco infant carrier. I just bought the Graco 4ever all in one convertible carseat. Goes from rear facing at 5 lbs all the way to booster seat for up to 100 lbs. Kinda pricey but it's the only car seat you need
I had a Baby trend travel system with my first that I liked too. It came with an infant carrier then after that he had a Graco and then another Baby trend car seat that was the largest 5 point harness made because my son is HUGE
The best one on the market is the Britax. It's the safest one out there, based on many public safety opinions in my area. My family is mostly public service or safety so they insisted 😂

I'm a huge advocate for convertible car seats. Ours goes up to like 60 pounds so we won't have to buy a new one.

get one you really like and make sure it grows with baby. it's the one thing you will always need
