If you register at baby's r us they will give you a list of things you should put on it!

It was my first time too! At one of the stores they gave u a list to help u!!! But I really made sure to register for receiving blankets, swaddlers, burp clothes, bottles, clothes! I didn't do diaper because I don't want to get too many of one and then my baby is sensitive to one or the other

Diapers and wipes

Thank you ladies ! @kellynicole @jennaboo @kimberlynnn I'm registering at target and Burlington. I didn't want to do baby's r us because I felt it was alittle pricey and I want people to be able to afford the things on my registry lol. I know some things that are essential. Like diapers, wipes, etc. but I heard a lot of people go and register for so many things then never end up needing or even using them! And what about laundry detergent for just the Babys clothes. Is that important?

Worse comes to worst, go in there and be like "my husband just bought the wrong diapers and he lost the receipt"

Don't buy "baby detergent"! Just buy any brand without fragrance in it, preferably natural. Baby doesn't care about any "nice smelling stuff", believe me! :)

Okay! I know the stuff I use will be way to harsh on his skin. I just didn't know if they had a special kind for babies lol. I think way too much into things that's why I know I'll be the one to over register and be stuck with things I won't need probably @manichkat

So, baby car seat is the must! No one let you out of the hospital without it :)

Crib. Changing table or some kind of station would be nice. Night lights. Some kind of baby bath tub. A lot of small burping clothes... I can go on! :)

Teething toys. Mobile for a crib or changing table. Some packable crib to take with you to your parents or friends house. Bouncer...

Just ask :) I will try to remember what did I have that really was nice to have.

Most insurances now days cover the cost of a breast pump. Ask your OB GYN for a prescription!

What's the best one? Idn if my insurance will cover a good one... I have insurance through my job. It's so expensive I feel like I'll have to pay for a pump and I heard about nipple Shields? Should I get some of those too? @manichkat

In 2009 Medela was great 😊 Hmm, never used nipple shields. I think you will figure this out after you will actually start breastfeeding...

Breastfeeding pillow, like Boppy is nice to have too.
