so I'm going to be 23 weeks tomorrow, and I started feeling the baby move at 12 weeks. I didn't really start feeling her move every day until I was about 18 or 19 weeks. she will move very little one day, and then non-stop the next. but even on the days she moves very little, it's still pretty distinguished. yesterday I felt her maybe once, but it was so faint, it could have just been gas. this morning the same thing happened. usually when I lay still for a while, I'll feel her a LITTLE bit, but I haven't yet.. should I be concerned?

Have you tried drinking something, or laying on your left side? Maybe push and poke on your belly a little ...

@mommarausch, I don't think they usually have you count kicks til later on. But I would call if nothing helps make her move.

@babymama85, I've been laying on my left side, and I had coffee which usually she starts moving around while I sit there drinking it, but today and yesterday she didn't.

She's probably moving you just can't feel it, they won't have you count kicks till your 3rd trimester. Just relax you just might be causing your self and the baby stress

@babymama85, thank you. and @kimberlynnn, it's just odd that I've without a doubt felt her every single day, and then all of a sudden I just don't. it's only been a day and a half though. I think I'm just paranoid, and need to calm down like you said.

@mommarausch, that's how I was with little man. I stressed and worried for no reason and come to find out he was moving the whole time just wasn't feeling it

You won't feel consistent movements for a while yet, but if you're really concerned just give your OB's office a call :)

Also I suggest getting a doppler to use at home. I use mine whenever I feel like I haven't felt baby move in a while and hearing his little heart beat instantly calms me down!
