Almost due for the D/S scan and bloods and was just wondering if this is a scan that will require being paid for as my GP sent me to a radiology for my 1st trimester scan that bulk billed all medical scans.. If so roughly how much would this scan cost or can it differ from place to place as I didn't get this scan with my son 6 years ago and would love to be prepared.. Any advice would be appreciated 😃

I paid for my scan but my bloods were bulk billed, cost me $180 for my first Bub through a radiology centre and $80 for my last baby through a local ultrasound tech to come out.
You have to pay for the scan and the bloods for that one Hun :-( I think because we choose to have it Medicare don't cover it AT ALL :( pretty crappy you can get them to bill you though? I did that and then paid half then the other half? :) hope that helps 😊

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
