Almost due for the D/S scan and bloods and was just wondering if this is a scan that will require being paid for as my GP sent me to a radiology for my 1st trimester scan that bulk billed all medical scans.. If so roughly how much would this scan cost or can it differ from place to place as I didn't get this scan with my son 6 years ago and would love to be prepared.. Any advice would be appreciated 😃

I just asked my doc to put on the ultrasound form for me to be bulk billed.

Thank you girls, I very much appreciate your comments. I wasn't to sure so I thought this would be the best place to ask :) would much rather go on knowing instead of doing it and being like "oh crap wasn't expecting this fee"

I paid for my scan but my bloods were bulk billed, cost me $180 for my first Bub through a radiology centre and $80 for my last baby through a local ultrasound tech to come out.

You have to pay for the scan and the bloods for that one Hun :-( I think because we choose to have it Medicare don't cover it AT ALL :( pretty crappy you can get them to bill you though? I did that and then paid half then the other half? :) hope that helps 😊
