Today the Anesthesiologist told me I will not be able to have an epidural. My platelets are low and do not function correctly. I can only have IV medication and laughing gas. I can't lie I am nervous and terrified.

Don't be nervous girl! I hope all goes well for you!✌🏽️
Personally I'm afraid of needles. I have a tattoo though🤔I know, I know... But never in a billion years would I have ever consider getting an epidural. Needless to say, I had to get one. I had to get it because it was my only choice or c section (would have still have to get the epidural either way.)
I had to get induced because I couldn't get contractions by myself at 42 weeks. The epidural hurt more than my contractions. Apart from that I was numb from my hip down. There's nothing worse than having no control of your legs. It doesn't stop there, I get really bad pulling pain, cramping, and back pain apart from my scoliosis when it's cold, I can point out exactly where They put the needle. Sometimes just walking. Trust me when I say you'll be fine without it, honestly! You can do it girl!🙌🏼
