ftm here: let me hear your experience with pacifiers! at what age did you give/offer your LO a pacifier? when do you usually give it to them (after feeding, nap time, night time) ? do they self soothe with it?

I started out without pacifier but then he got circumcision && he would yell in his sleep because he was terrified so I broke down brought a hospital pacifier, it soothes him a lot && he still take the breast so it doesn't confuse him. An he knows the difference between the pacifier && the breast, he will yell at me when he realize it ain't my nipple. My first son he about be three weeks

My baby loves her binky. I had an oversupply and she liked to comfort suck, but my milk was too much for her at times. I gave it to her after 6 or 8 weeks. And now she's never without it. She can put it in her own mouth and calm down.

My son had one since like 3 weeks old until 9 months . He only liked one and we lost it and he got over it pretty fast . Both my girls didn't use one they never liked it
