My fiancé doesn't have medical so we have to pay cash for his whooping cough shot my question is is how important is it for him to get it? I don't want to put baby girl at risk but money is also tight right now

My health department is stupid and very rude tried to set up an appointment and they were like well what does he need the shot for? Then when we got in a car accident the day we were suppose to go they got made cuz we were a "no show"

@lillismom16, I'd say it's pretty important. In the off chance he gets it, it could be deadly for your little one. Better to be safe than sorry. Do you have a WIC office near you? If so,  not sure if it's like the one here but in the town I live in if you have no insurance and have to pay out of pocket, they do needed shots for $10/shot for adults, $6/shot for kids, and free if you're a WIC member for x amount of time.
