I got a question ladies do u believe that once u become a mom it's selfish of u to take time and do ur hair and make up…

I don't think so if your baby is taken care of before you do all that. I feel guilty sometimes getting ready but if my baby is relaxed and fed and changed I don't see an issue with it. Just because we're moms doesn't mean we need to neglect ourselves. I still get ready if my bf and I are going out on a date.

I got told I was a bad mom cuz I put make up on and did my hair (before my little girl woke up I woke up at 7am to get ready before she wakes up at 9am )@vb95

No. It at all!! Us mom does a lot for our children's but it can get stressful. You always need a mommy time to yourself. Don't feel guilty of doing it.

Hell no! I do it once in a while when I actually want to get dolled up, I usually do it when he is sleeping or content in his exersaucer. Does that mean im a bad mom because I do laundry or the dishes while hes sleeping? No! we need time to!

yes another mom told me this @vb95 and I felt so bad after she said that to me I haven't even gotten my nails done cuz of it @lovelorenzo

I do believe that sometimes we as mothers forget about ourselves, taking care of our babies. But, I really think sometimes moms need to be taking care of themselves, of course after our children.

@brudd330, no matter what someone's opinion is they should just keep it to themselves. I would've told her to stfu because it's not her place to judge me as a mom if she doesn't personally know me. You're allowed to have time to do you. That doesn't make you any worse of a mommy.

No you need to have your needs meet as well. It's not just a 1 way street, it's a 2 way street and if that's going to help you feel better or feel like yourself again then you go for it. It's so hard for me to get ready with my daughter when hubs isn't here but it's doable.

@vb95, exactly I have a big mouth anyways I'm not afraid to speak my mind I don't think anyone should hold back anymore considering how rude and intruding some people are
