Sounds funny but put heat and nurse on all 4s, gravity and babies suction will fix your ducts! (:

my son won't nurse :/ so I have to pump to give him milk through a bottle. the NICU kinda got him used to bottles. so unfortunately I won't get to nurse like I wanted. he gets really fussy if I try to put him on a boob and he starts to cry and scream @des_a_rayy

@jesjeslovesyou, if you don't pump when you're supposed to it can. I missed a few hours of pumping today and it led to me getting engorged and I've been having a few problems with my milk the last few days.

Eeek! Is it painful? How often are you supposed to pump?

hahahaha yessss that was me today.. I ended up gravity pumping after taking the world's hottest shower and crying bc I thought I was gonna get mastitis. I got clogged bc i slept in a bra :( @xbbycolletto

@gypsy.soul2, that's what I found out I was doing wrong. sleeping in my nursing bras. and one of them was too tight. so I ended up getting new ones from Walmart and the right size, and last night I slept with one real loose and let the hot hands stay in over night. by the time I got up this morning, I pumped 2 2 1/2 ounce bottles. one on each boob. so hopefully once I get to not sleeping in my bras, I'll definitely start getting more milk again. I was gonna do the diaper trick. but I got yelled at for using his diaper 😐 and I was swearing I was gonna get mastitis and it had me in tears when Sebastian got home from work yesterday and he looks at me and says "your hormones must be affecting you again. we'll go buy some hot hands and see if it'll work. you're not doing anything wrong to Xayden by supplementing with formula. the NICU did it to him if it wasn't safe they wouldn't have done it and they wouldn't have said its fine for you to do. lemme take a shower and shave and we'll go to Walmart and take a little bit of a drive so you can get out the house." least he gets why I still use the insomil formula they gave us if I have no milk. my boob's have messed Xayden's entire feeding schedule up.

@jesjeslovesyou, yes. VERY. not doing it enough can actually cause you to get mastitis which... you just don't want trust me. but if you pump. it's supposed to be every 2-3 hours.

we supplemented with Similac Supplement ready to feed bottles... but haven't touched one in 2 weeks..

I've had with clogged ducts so far and the first one was easy to get out.. I slept with the diaper compress on and woke up with a ton of milk that leaked all over my shirt lol this time took 14 hours to get that shit out.. nursing didn't even help bc I have a strong let down for his mouth.

I go braless now to sleep but I still get nervous I'm gonna leak everywhere even if pump right before bed lolol.

@gypsy.soul2, 😂😂you hit the nail on the head though. I try to not touch the formula but everytime I got milk up and stored. they go and completely use it all and then I'm left with having to supplement bc no one gets im TRYING to build it up so they won't have to refrain to the formula. but then they start getting on my case and im like "I'd rather him supplement for 2 days and have almost a week's worth of breast milk to fall on Than have to pump and then immediately fed him when he's so used to a timed schedule " but then it's always drama to follow 😐😧
