its a really old fashioned name. I have a Ruby Mai who is almost 9 and it annoys me her name is so common now so I'd like something a little different this time round. Think it will be a boy though! x

(I keep annoying my husband by suggesting names from the ghetto name video on you tube - and when people ask what we're thinking of calling baby, we don't know if boy or girl, I reel some off or make up crazy names and see how people react- immature I know but it amuses me!)

@zoeleigh, yea I imagine it's frustrating ruby is pretty popular! I hoped for a girl aswel as we had so many names we both loved but are struggling for boy names! @chloe7879 is Martha quite an old school name. It's lovely just not really heard it before?. Xx
