Seriously don't think I know what I'm doing still, I think I spoiled my baby? She cries every time someone puts her down.. Don't know if I should let her cry it out or pick her up after 15mins 😕 what did you all do?

if you don't have a vibration bouncer I'd invest in one! my son was only happy in that, I couldn't hold him all the time either. I got our bouncer (brand new quality) at once upon a child for 10$. best money ever spent.

@michellevaldez4750, you are very welcome. I don't drop everything and run to my daughter everytime and don't knock on women who do or dont. but every baby has different needs, so no woman should question if she's paying too much attention to the newborn

LOVE that article! I agree with everything that it said. I don't feel like ppl who let babies cry it out are hurting their kids at all but I personally want to be there every second for them at that age. and for some reason I never really suffered from exhaustion when they were newborns. I just napped when they did and it worked out fine for me. :) thanks for sharing that!@emily18234

I never felt like I spoiled my kids as newborns and they were held 24/7. they're used to being inside all warm and cozy. I think it's good to let them know you're always there but some ppl do let them cry it out a bit.

you're very welcome!! my friend sent it to me yesterday because my daughter is the same exact way. I'm very thankful I got a Boba for a baby shower gift. I just slide her in and go about my chores

don't question if your doing it right. as long as her needs are met and you've tried everything than you've done nothing wrong. believe me when I say there are times when absolutely nothing will soothe them. and with her being so young she's still adjusting. just trust your instincts and relax. take a break if you need. don't let yourself get to overwhelmed cuz that's not gonna make it any easier @babybluntsmommy

@katarama, no I haven't tried that but I will.. Should I swaddle every time It's time to nap or at night only?

@sk216 she just turned 2wks yesterday so I guess that's what it is, it's just really hard because I don't know rather I'm doing everything right.. If she can sense that I'm frustrated, crying, etc..

If you've done everything from feeding her and changing her. Then lay her down and let her cry it out. The more you hold them the more they expect it. Especially if you pick them up every time they cry.

yeah I did it with both of mine and yeah as bad as its gonna hurt ya gonna have to put her down and let her cry 15 mins is cool you may even cry too lol but she will have to cry if you have a vibrating chair those work great but I made that mistake with both mine paid for it later now they 15&11; still spoiled as hell 😂😂😂

there's no such thing as spoiling a baby. they need love and affection. especially a newborn, they're still getting used to being out of the womb and they're very easily frightened. Have you tried a swaddler?

you can't spoil a baby. it's nothing you did or are doing wrong. babies get like that. my 6 week old gets like that sometimes. not sure how old your little one is but they go through a phase called the purple crying period that lasts from 2 weeks to 4 months. some days will be worse than others but they will cry for no reason. we just gotta hang in there.
