I have something very important on my heart to say. If you don't like it that's fine I wouldn't care if you didn't. But since I've been on this site I've seen so many women saying that the doctor are scheduling them to be induced. My thing is that I can't stand doctors. Bc of there seniority what they say that is healthy for you or your child is valid which may not be true all the time majority of the time it's not. So to induce a woman that has no complications with their pregnancy is asinine. There has only been 2 or 3 women on her that say exactly the reason for them to get induced because of preeclampsia or high blood pressure. Also because they are already contracting at 33 or 32 week. Witch are valid reasons. I'm not putting anyone down, but people use your weakness against you. Meaning the fact that you are ready to see your baby or you just want to be done with being pregnant. They use that, and I can see why a woman would agree. But you put your child's health at risk because of your own selfish reasons. Majority of doctors suggest inducing because think of it YOU ARE NOT THERE ONLY PATIENCE. They are on call. So to make there jobs easier is to try and schedule every pregnancy that they can to line up with a decent amount of time. I mean in case something does go wrong potentially. But that's a big IF. I see the comments that people make on here bc they are just defending there child or there reasoning for the decision that they have or are going to make. I'm all for it. But why not defend against your doctor because he say he is qualified to say so? Good question! But it's a rhetorical question. I wanted to share that bc doctors are people and everyone loves a short cut to make there life easier. So if there's know reason to get induced health wise for you or your child then he shouldn't even suggest it. If you are 40 weeks baby haven't came. There are no leeks and you are not fully dilated. You have up to 2 week for the doctor can suggest inducing. Lady just get a second opinion If something doesn't feel right. There's no need to rush your pregnancy when you almost there. But if you do make sure it's your reason and not the doctor! ONE LOVE
