honestly milk helped me, it coated my tummy so I felt full, then I could eat because I wasn't feeling sick from an empty stomach. I don't reccomend drinking water right away when you wake up, even if you're super thirsty, that always lead to me feeling worse.
make sure you eat something. crackers or something but the only thing that helped me was zofran even though it's frowned upon. my son is healthy and thriving though

Drink a little ginger ale and eat a couple crackers before you even get out of bed. Seemed to help me some

Mango helped me. It was literally the only thing I could keep down. And crackers.

Also drink as much water as you can. The more you have in your tummy the less nausea you should feel (usually)
