We had people write their own address on their envelope at the baby shower, but it still took me a while to get them sent out. About a month probably.

@em1, I gave out thank you cards at my shower so I didn't have to deal with it after. said "Thank you so much for coming to my shower and for bringing me a gift. I know it's a load off my mommy's shoulders" etc sorry I know that doesn't help you here but maybe for next time....?
