Why can't I get my girl to latch on.... God this is so frustrating I wish breastfeeding wasn't so important and good for her :(
Find a lactation consultant. I cried for 3 days because I was so frustrated for her and felt like I was doing something wrong. They helped me so much.
@iasmina, Lucas did that too. He didn't want to work for it and i ended up with blistered nipples as well but if you push thru those first couple weeks it should get better. Some babies don't quite understand that they have to nurse to eat. They just want it "NOW" lol
@wiccanmommy, no not really I akways nurse on demand like every 2 hours if not every 1 1/2 hours
@myliltadpole1116, thanks for the advice she always get so mad and frustrated aways like pushes herself away and so on. my son never did that, I did it had a hard time like this with him but with her it's so hard it's crazy
are you holding her In different positions? Check to see if your holding her too high on your breast? I used to hand express a little amount of milk and rub it on my areola and when he was really stubborn I'd take my finger and just wet his upper lip with it. It helped him realize we were going to nurse and he was going to eat . It really does get better, hang in there!
I will do so Thank you ladies
