I have an anterior placenta too and I didn't feel him move till 25-27 weeks I was a worried mess. lol

I'm terrified. I have 3 boys, now I'm having a girl. and I just want to feel her move so I know she's OK. I hate waiting.

I haven't delivered yet, I'm 33 weeks 4 days. So many people have anterior placentas. It doesn't harm the baby at all. Google it, it'll put your mind at ease. Just sucks not feeling your baby for so long.

how do you know your placenta is placed differently? i felt my first at around 13-15 weeks ill be 17 weeks tomorrow and only felt flutters once in a while not everyday my ob hasnt said anything about my placenta he just said its on the left side and baby is fine @paige1212

@paige1212, also when i went to get my 3d ultrasound the lady said the baby is facing my back? can that be why i dont feel movement?

I had an ultrasound at my last check up because they couldn't find her heart beat. well that's because the placenta was in the way. My ob is concerned because the placenta may have fused with my uterus. if that's the case then she may have to be born 4 weeks early and I might need a hysterectomy. plus there's bleeding risks and blah blah blah. but I won't know anything for sure until I see a specialist in a week and a half.

they can take my uterus. I don't want it anymore. but I've heard horror stories of the placenta starting to feed to uterus and not the baby so the baby needs to be born ASAP . I'm just nervous
