So mommies out there with a toddler around 2 how do you get them to goto bed without them freaking out?! My son we just moved him into a big boy bed about 3 weeks ago an he was doing so good he would only get out of bed like twice before he would finally fall asleep an he would only cry a little. Now he has a full on melt down! I'm trying different things with him I even stopped doing a nap during the day to see if he would goto bed easier an no he doesn't he gets up at like 9 every day but won't goto bed till 11-12 😤 it really sucks cause baby girl goes to bed around 9ish each night then wakes up around 12 I would love the extra sleep! But it's like my son gets his second wind at 10 an refuses to goto bed! Any help would be awesome!

Yes I am gonna do that while I am on maternity leave as well cause 2 kids in diapers isn't fun!

@sandycheeks, yes that's a little of my husband an I problem is being constant with him! But I need him to be going to bed at like 9 cause I want my alone time! Since I'm on leave I'm going to be doing this with him an getting him on a better schedule! I just laid him down about 20 mins ago an it only took me twice to get him into bed so that's a plus compared to the last week 😒

@ethemy1315, I thought about a t.v too but he is only into certain things mainly movies an we watch them before bedtime some nights an once it's over he gets up an try's to replay it again some nights he will be up till 1-2 in the morning running around idk how he has so much energy we don't give him sweets that much either we even try turning all the lights off in the house an put on a movie to see if he will fall asleep an he doesn't 😠 he just goes none stop 😟

my 1 and 2 year old are both now in a routine about 730 they go to bed. I put them down and they go to sleep. what we had to do I'm the beginning was everytime they got up I'd pop their butt lay them back down and say nite time. you just have to be consistent and keep doing same thing over and over until he gets the hang of it. it took me about a week to get them on that routine. now they go to sleep whenever I put them down and wake up about 7 am

My son just turned 3 and does the exact same thing. it got to the point to where we had to literally lock him in his room until he fell asleep, but we recently put a small tv in his room and bought him a paw patrol disc that has tons of episodes, and he watches it until the timer runs out and falls asleep.

He use to be an awesome sleeper until about 2 months ago he would goto bed so easy an say night to us now he just freaks out 😒

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

I don't have a baby boy. I would like to know personally how do you moms feel about people treating there sons like girls as in taking them to nail salons and getting pampered ect.... I think it's important for ladies to remember your not raising a little boy. At the end of the day your raising a man. If I have a son I just want to raise him to be the best man he can be. I won't treat him to the same things I would my daughter and vice versa.😕

son getting out of car seat

son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.
