Is Bologna safe while pregnant?

I ate bologna well pregnant I just fried it or heated it up in the microwave

yes! I have heated it up!.. just make sure it's good and there are no recalls

My doc told me it's not but I've also heard any deli meat isn't safe and I've had plenty of subs this pregnancy. Just not Bologna

@emkasting, I never heard that. I've learned a lot this pregnancy which is scary cuz I've already had 3 kids and had no idea certain things were bad! did dr say why bologna was not good? I know certain deli meats aren't good but I thought packaged was alright.

I didn't know that. I knew fresh deli meat but damn. I've eaten hot dogs quite a few times :-\ @brenleismom

Yeah like @brenleismom said its about bacteria. Bologna for some reason is way more "unsafe" than other deli meats during pregnancy but honestly I'm not quite sure why that is.

Don't be concerned or anything about having eaten hot dogs, I've had hot dogs this pregnancy too. Just try to make sure they're kosher if you can, that's what I was told!! :) @michellevaldez4750
