baby woke up before me this morning, so hubby took her to go play with him this morning.... which was very sweet and he meant well, BUT this happened:

he yells "babe! come see her in the bumbo!"

I say back (half asleep) "I've seen her in the bumbo many times babe"

he says "She's reaching for an apple! it's so cute!!"

I say "that's nice" still half asleep.... then I realize.... the apples are on the counter!!! he has her in the bumbo on the COUNTER!!! I rush over, find all my strength in me not to yell at him, and gently put the bumbo and her on the floor. he said he was keeping an eye on her, even though he was elbow deep in dishes.... ugh!! I always wondered who was stupid enough to need the bumbo warning, but I guess he is. he also tried to tell me to use the bumbo as a bath chair once upon a time.

he meant well and I'm glad he was spending time with her, which is why I didn't yell, but please have common sense!
