There's a difference in him being there with her. And being a family with you. Those kids aren't his responsibility in his brain, he's not responsible. it's easier for him to be there and not have to take care of a kid that's not his. But to be there and know he must take care of a child that is his, is a lot harder when they are not responsible. I had to deal with the same mess from my kids dad. It wasn't until I realized that that I was able to get over it. You can't raise a man. Either they want to be responsible or not.
