mostly 1s. a couple of 2s. maybe 3 or 4 packs of newborns.

I haven't had my baby yet but everyone told me not to buy too many because you never know what the baby will have bad reactions to..plus lots of friends and family will always gift tons of diapers so buying them on your own often is unnecessary. I'd say buy a big pack or two and keep the receipt in case they give baby a rash or bad reaction.

you won't use as much newborn as size 1. but I will say Wal-Mart will exchange any diapers not open for a different size or brand if they sell that brand. I had to exchange a lot from my baby shower because my son can't wear some brands and I was given a lot of size newborn

I think 3 or 4 packs of newborn, 4 packs of 1s, and a few 2s and 3s. Might need more of the bigger sizes (2s and 3s) as time goes on since I think they're the sizes they stay in the longest

My daughter was born into size one, but, I had three 30 packs of newborn, and 5 30 packs of size one. And then I just had husband run out and buy more as we needed. My daughter grew so fast, I didn't want to over buy, and then not be able to use them. Luckily, I only live 4 mins from Target! Haha. And now, she's 8months old and is in size 5. We get our diapers through delevery now with Honest Co. ... Best recommendation I could give .

@victorialove, , you're welcome! Also, don't open the packs until needed. I got excited and unpacked the newborn sizes and put them all away in her changing table, only to find she wasn't able to fit into something so small. So, since they've been opened, I was unable to use them. The whole, "everyone will gift you lots of diapers" didn't work in my favor. I was gifted 1 pack, and I had a huge baby shower...it was very strange. Haha!

im due in 9 days and what were gonna due is wait till shes here and see if shes a newborn size or if she fits in ones. but i ordered diapers from my insurance company (free) so in case we have a pack in our diaper organizer a pack of 1s and 2s.
