Questin for my breastfeeding mommys out there! So i bf n he pretty much needs it to fall asleep at night aswell n throughout the night an now its pretty much to the point of he doesnt leave our bed the whole night now... Soon as he falls asleep i try to move him to his oack n play crib witch is still in our room n he just starts crying until hes back in bed with us.... Does anyone else have this problem?
@cartersmomma232016, how old is your baby? An ya i mean there not raising your child you are gotta do what works for you i agree!
I'm in the EXACT same boat! I totally never planned on cosleeping, but I feel like until he is a little older and can learn ways to soothe himself like sucking his thumb or putting his pacifier back in, that I'm okay with him using me as his comfort. Of course my family has all kinds of things to say about it, but they're not there at night so I just let them talk and then do what I was already doing.
@its_yazz, thank you! An you too! An true everyone has there own situation an struggles they are dealing with there own ways
yes that's what I was told but if your baby is happy with you then you been happy too. don't listen to what everyone has to say they don't take care of your baby & you know what your baby likes & dont. & your doing a great job care for your baby. @kmrie
@its_yazz, ya seems like someones always got something to say how it should be or things should be done by the book! But thats not real life an things dont work that way i guess id rather have my baby comfy an safe an happy then by himself an feeling like no one is thereof him or trying to do everything a certion way cuz the books say oh gota do it this way! An cant be having baby do that! Thanks!
do what's is best for you & your baby. I never wanted my baby sleeping in at crib when she was born because I was scared to leave her alone I know she was going to be in my room but still. & my hubby doesn't want me to put her in her crib now. so she is going to sleep with us until she gets bigger if so. if not we might just have to get a king size bed lol. for me I just think is best for my baby to sleep with me because you get sleep & your baby does too. just do what's best for you & baby. when I go to her doctor appointment they ask me where she sleeps I tell them in her crib. @kmrie
@its_yazz, ya@y babys almost 7 months as well an i breastfeed through the night aswell i was wondering if im the only one or if this is normal nice to hear im not the only one!
I daughter sleep with me in my bed since day one. now she is 7 months & still sleeps with me & I breastfeed her sometimes at night when she wants it.
@edomke, arnt you worried hill like suffocate id be scared putting anything in his crib with him an no insont use a pacifier cuz dont want him being dependent on it but i guess now hes dependent on me i guess ill have to check that page out i plan on bf him as long as he needs it an iv come so far with this whole process i dont plan on stoping now i just need him to sleep in his own crib witch it could be the beds more comfy then his crib idk
One thing that helps my son is I put my shirt in his crib if he's like really clingy then that helps I think
Well then it's probably just gonna keep happening like no offense of anything but it just will. Do you use a pacifier? That could help or just rocking him but I don't think anything will really work without some crying that's how he falls asleep so he thinks he has to nurse every time he wakes up so he can fall back. My son is the same way but has to fall asleep on me
@edomke, do you bf? I don't believe in sleep training iv read up on it an letting my baby cry it out isnt gunna teach him anything besides no one is comming to his needs...
Respectful sleep training/learning on Facebook you have to be added but there are many women that have that problem on there. If you posted this exact post about ten women would comment and give advice
@cartersmomma232016, aww ya he still young! Just becareful but your his mommy you no whats best for him at that age i just worried about baby not being able to move if he was laying down in the middle of the night like now my son is almost 7 months an he can move around pretty good an roll around an lift himself up so kinda makes me feel alittle better
