Labor story, my first water slowly started leaking at about 10:22 the evening of the 6th, so my mom took me into the hospital after she got home from work at 11 (she works an hour away and her relief was late). We got to the l&d and they tested to make sure it was amniotic fluid and it was. We tried walking the halls for an hour twice and a warm bath to get my contractions and labor going, but nothing was happening so they had to start me on Pitocin to get contractions going. But for some reason, they said most likely the way she was laying, she couldn't handle the contractions. I got the epidural, and they stopped the Pitocin after that to see if I'd keep contracting on my own, but when they did that they slowed down to every 5 minutes and I just wasn't dilating right so after all night and all day of being in labor, I had only dialated to a 4, so my doctor said the only way to get her out and healthy was a c section. Me being a first time mom freaked out so badly. But if it was the only healthy way to get her out, I wanted to take it. But I'm not brave like a lot of you ladies. I made them put me to sleep for the c section. But my baby girl is the most perfect baby I have ever seen 💜
