Can newborns have nightmares? My daughter is almost 7 weeks old and sometimes she wakes up from a dead sleep screaming and she only calms down when you pick her up and rock her for a while... She's never done it until this past week since we moved back to my moms house. Could she be missing daddy or her old room?

Astrid screams and cried in her sleep. We found waking her up is the best way to deal with it. I know she doesn't understand is at 6 weeks old but tell her she's not allowed to cry in her sleep then wake her up by talking to her, moving her around, and giving her kids.

No nightmares. At this age they learn a lot of new highs every day. Each Abby takes it in differently and they can/will process some things while they're sleeping.

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
