Question for you mommies. Did you have you membranes scraped and if so how far along were you? Did it hurt? FTM at 39 weeks with a baby appointment today!

Don't feel hopeless, I was 40 weeks 20 or 30% effaced and barely a centimeter dilated.. Your body will know when it's time and you'll be fine(:
@loridann, I'm a whimp too I hate getting my cervix checked...doesn't help my dr has log fingers lol but he refused to scrape me cuz he said he doesn't like to do that. The other dr in my OB office does it no problem but they won't schedule me with her anymore only with this new male dr. I'm 39 weeks today and only 50% effaced...kinda feeling hopeless now
I'm a total whimp and it hurt me, but cervix exams hurt me. So, as long as you can handle cervix exams, you're okay(: it is a bit uncomfortable and I remember it causing cramps.
I had mine stripped last week and I don't think it hurt it was just extremely uncomfortable. Just breathe through it and you'll be okay :) I'll be 40 weeks tomorrow btw
