I also dont have FB (I believe its really unhealthy individually, as well as for marriages) and so that also complicates things in a world where technology seems to be the norm for meeting friends nowadays

@nessa_475, yep same here. Im literally way out in the country, in the woods with hardly any houses around, and Im also a homebody and dont go out or anything so it makes it tough to meet friends.

I'm in ft Myers, not too far from the cape. Don't have many mommy friends

why don't u join a meetup group in your area? it's a great way to meet people.

Check out local churches in your area! Many have moms groups! I've met a lot of new mommy friends through my church. It is a lonely job but hang in there!
