@shynae, your 20 week scan is an anomaly scan which checks to see whether babies bones and organs are all growing to speed as they should be and to check for things such as cleft lip/palate, and also will tell you the sex of your baby if you want to know :)

not yet, i have the referal but was told they only take bookings 2 wreks before your ultrasound so have to book in at the end of this week. @holycow96
can anyone tell me what happens at this scan?

only asking as my first scan was at 8 weeks but i personally couldnt see a lot. if that makes sence.

Got my first scan at 6 weeks but was just a tiny little beany, this one was at my 12 week scan. She was very shy and hid her face the whole time 🙈☺️
