Oh god no lol. My birth plan is literally just:

Let me progress labor/delivery without your strict time frame for things, I'll bring music on my phone to listen to if I feel like, (quietly, I'm not going to be trying to start a mosh pit in the hospital lol), let the father cut the cord if he wants. If it's available I asked for a water birth, or to be allowed to shower while I'm in labor so long as my water hasn't broke. I asked to be able to walk around while in labor. Basically just said let me do what feels right, don't try to rush me. I don't think I'm being picky at all. Or if I am I don't think I'm being nearly as picky as a lot of other people can be.

I think the Dr's get that way because mom's have this plan n if things don't go as planned for whatever reason then some mother's make things extremely difficult for the dr...labor just kinda happens n never usually the way we want it too

I have been making my labor plan. The hospital I am going too is known for getting people in and rushing them out. So I too am asking for them to let me go through my labor in a timely fashion. I mean obviously if it isn't a possibility and the baby is under stress get my baby out pronto. But I don't want a horrid experience. I'm only going to the hospital because it has the only NICU in my area. I have other things on it that id like but I'll understand if it isn't do-able. But I want a legitimate reason to why not simply because they don't want too. For example I want my fiancé to "assist catch" the baby also know as "3 hand catch" and I want him to be with my baby at all times if it leaves the room unless circumstances don't allow. My doctor herself told me there isn't really reason for them to remove the baby from your room unless it's for like circumcision or something serious. So if I were you just clear it up with your doctor. If it's possible you want it done your way. You are paying them not vice versa. Yes it may be their time but they signed up for it yah know?

@luvmyboldens, I have a very simple plan, and if they tell me there's a medical reason or legitimate reason they can't do something then that's that, but I don't really have anything down about labor or birth itself, because I know there's a chance of a c-section.

@lexximarie, if there's anything wrong with our baby or about to be then I'm not going to argue, do what needs to be done to get her out, but my OB feels like such a bully sometimes & she's so damn rude, and doesn't act like she cares at all about me. So I will argue if she's around for a different Doctor. Someone like her I just don't want at my birth so I'm kind of glad she does everything but deliver babies.
