I'm like 97% sure we're having a girl (even though we opted to not find out at the ultrasound - just a gut feeling) but I wanted to ask your opinion just in case it's a boy. Circumcision... yay or nay? We're not religious. I've read pros and cons for both doing it and not. I personally have never encountered an uncircumcised penis, so I would probably opt for circumcision but I wanted to get an idea of what you all think. Thanks!

I've heard grown men come in and have it done later in life and it hurts way more. I feel like its just a cleaner choice personally

I believe yes, as of now I will be circumcisizing my son.. My cousin's son had a bad infection and when he was one he had to be circumcised and it was bad! As a baby they can't touch down there Ect that's why it's best when small

Idk why you would let someone mutilate your sons penis with no anesthetic what so ever.

There has been no true research done that prove isn't is more sanitary.and many boys die of circumcisions each yeah. Or get very bad infections after getting one done. As long as you clean your baby and don't let it sit around in poop then there is no medical reason to get it done. It's all cosmetic

I left the decision up to my SO because who knows better about that than him? He said that he's definitely circumsizing our son.

& nearly all doctors use pain medication or anesthetic when circumsizing.

I did with both of my son's. No regrets lol. Except for the fact we thought my newborns was infected but it turned out ok @amanda_marcozzi

My SO has no problems being uncircumcised, it's no cleaner than a circumcised penis and it requires no more work to maintain one either. Obviously this is a very personal choice every parent of boys must make and I don't think anyone else should tell you what to do. It is however important to look at the pros and cons of both sides, like any cosmetic surgery it does have its risks for such a little reward.

my SO says yes to it because it keeps the boy from being different and picked on, also saves him pain if he ever wanted it done in the future. but I let my SO decide because he has the parts lol... but I agree, my brothers dad didn't let him, he got so bullie, then when he was 13 my mom took him, they were divorced and he was thankful he got it done but he was painful he said and also was left with a scar. he said he is glad he got it done though.
