If that's the case maybe you should take dad's advice on this one. Because if you say that he already laughs at you when you say no its because he thinks it's okay to do whatever he wants and doesn't take you seriously. I know it hurts you more than it hurts him to punish him but it will benefit him greatly in the end.

Just whatever you and your husband are comfortable with. Because it is both your child and you want to seem as a unit to your child. Because if your baby sees that both of you aren't on the same page he'll start trying to get away with certain things. Babies are smart and if you don't teach them at a young age to listen and obey you they will test you and try to get away with as much as possibe.

My son is 9 months and when i say no. He ignores me or just laughs and does what he wants anyway. I say or do something he doesn't like and says Im not nice. smh!

I say maybe no punishment on this one because you don't want to confuse him by thinking he's going to get a whoopin if he tries to walk. Just use a stern voice telling him it's okay to learn to walk but be careful to not hurt himself.

I think with a simple "No" is enough, he still little, he doesn't really know why is he getting punish, he will learn yes.. but in the meantime I think a simple no is more than enough but is definitely up to you, what you feel more comfortable with(:

My sister started slapping her baby on the booty and hands at 6 months. She is honestly the most happy, respectful, disciplined 6 year old I've seen. But whatever you are comfortable with.

I agree with you my son is about to be nine months at that age you need to just redirect them from what they are doing or take it away if it continues put them in their bouncer/jumper
