when do they start checking you for dilation

I had to request it at 39wks! Some doctors don't check unless you're IN LABOR! Craziness.

girl they really try to get fist deep in there lol not painful its just uncomfortable they use two fingers and look for your cervix

I have an appt on Thursday that's when he's going to check me for the first time. I'm 35 w btw

girl I went to er and got checked for dilation and its fun to hear for the first time but once you get it ...blah very uncomfortable not as fun as it sounds lol

I start getting checked tomorrow 35 week app

usually 36 or 37 weeks. in my case the first time I was checked was at 28 weeks cause of preterm contractions. after that I was checked at every appointment.
