Effin" doctor he didn't checked me at all not even to see if I was dilated!!!! He said maybe next week , really ?? WTF??? Plus my strep b test was positive WTH?? I'm clueless about this?? Can someone explain it to me plz!!!!

Most docs won't check if your dilated at every appointment because each time they check you it introduces bacteria and makes for a much higher risk of infection. My doctor said he won't start checking me until I start having contractions.

i had strep b when i had my daughter and had to have meds but i didn't have it with my son and i still had to get meds

You'll have to have antibiotics for strep b. I was positive too. They gave me antibiotics every 4 hours until I had my daughter.

group b strep, its a bacterial infection. About 25% of healthy pregnant women are carriers just means you have more bad cells than good. they give you meds during labor so baby can't catch it while traveling through the birth canal. @1.2andexpecting I had it too and their is nothing you can do to stop it. nothing to bad :)

I wouldn't stress it, lots of doctors don't check for dilation until the week you're due. If it makes you feel any better my joke of an ob is skipping my 38/39 week appointment entirely lol
