Considering getting the Tdap Vaccine....has anybody got this shot before or has considered it also?

I got mine at 32 weeks and just had a sore arm for a couple days. Very much worth the benefits! It will give the baby immunity to whooping cough.

I plan on getting it. I told my doctor today that I wanted it so they could go ahead and put it on file. The point of you getting it is to protect the baby for the first few months of its life before it can get its own vaccinations. Especially since family will be up in their face and can potentially pass whooping cough. My doctor told me his wife got the shot when she was pregnant and he highly recommends it to every pregnant woman in his care.

my arm is a little sore but that's it.

No side affects like soreness in your arm or anything @soon2bmomof3

I just got mine yesterday! and I had it with both my prior pregnancies.

anytime. I just don't want someone else having the health issues I do. I know I don't remember having it but my breathing sucks now. and normally I am against vaccinations but this is one I ask you take the time to really consider getting it done.

I didn't get the option on if I wanted to decline it. I had the whooping cough as a baby though and from what family has told me about their experience of me having it, I wouldn't decline it.
