how long do you bleed after having the baby ?

I had a c section. Not sure if it's different with natural birth. But I bled about 3 weeks. First it was heavy and with time it got lighter until it completely stopped.

Lol it's normal. I'm a ftm too but my baby is 7 weeks so I know a little up to this point haha.

@mothertoaprincess, It varies with everyone. My friend bled for a few days, my sister bled for over a month. Just stock up on pads and you'll be good :)

And by pads I mean heavy flow overnighters. That was the one that worked for me 😂

vaginal birth, I think I bled 2-4 weeks. maybe less. I'll have a c-section this time around so I have no clue what to expect till I go through it.

A week at most with my first but it's different for everybody

I did the whole 6 weeks with my first, 3-4 with my second and a week and a half with my 3rd.
