So I'm planning on breastfeeding, but about how many bottles do you think I'll be needing?

Yeah we have the 'starter' pack with 3 of each and I figure that might be best to start. Cause he other ones are all small and I don't feel like I will use them. Also I can wash them, idk I'm debating. Cause also idk if he will like them either! @domena84

if you already have bottles, I will just keep them (open only one set, and keep other just to see if you need more ) you can always return them after 30 day, and they give you store credit. also if you decide to return some make sure to keep the one with smallest nipple flow for start

I'm planning to breast feed too but I want my boyfriend to be able to feed the baby once in a while, I have a few different bottles cause I'm not sure what brand he will like best. I have a couple playtex drop ins and a playtex vent aire, my doc recommended that one. Then I have a tommee tippee. A friend of mine recommended munchkin latch so I put one of those on my registry. Then I just ordered this one, it's my favorite haha I just love glass bottles. I know, probably overkill but I wanted to have a decent stock with a few different brands so I can test out different ones until I know what the baby will like the best.

with my first I was using a lot bottles, bc I was back at work 10 day after delivery(I was only working 3d/week, so rest of the week I was breastfeeding). I was pumping straight to bottle before work so my hubby can feed baby, I also like to have some extra just in case, and when hubby was bringing baby to my work so he can go to his, he also was bringing 2 bottles just in case (so daily we was using at least 6 bottles) I think we are having at least 10 bottles, I just prefer to have more just in case, then don't, especially that bottles are not super expensive.

Yeah that's what I was going to do. But I'll need some I'm assuming so he could feed him cause he can't use the bag. Was just trying to get a rough estimate cause I'm ftm @wiccanmommy

if you want them for pumping I suggest getting bags to pump into, they are easier to store in the freezer. I also wouldn't introduce a bottle until breastfeeding is very stable, bottle nipples can cause latching issues.

So you really don't need too many? My one friend bought me a bunch and I think I'm gonna return them and only keep the set of 6. @henrysmommy but I'm a ftm so I don't know too much about it.

I breastfeed and my daughter doesn't take a bottle or paci . I'm trying to get her to she just wants my boobs.

My breast pump came with two, and that was fine because I had breast milk storage bags.
