please let me know if this is normal I had a sharp pain that shot through my spine it was a little uncomfortable after that I have just been experiencing upper mid and lower back pains cramping in abdominal area and on the sides I'm only 5 weeks 5 days.. I know everybody pregnancy is different but please help

that happen to me last night too. . I called my doctor....IT NORMAL IF YOU HAD NO BLEEDING

@terrajay, okay I haven't had any bleeding this is my first time being pregnant so I'm new to this..mines have been going on for about 4 days now

@babybump20, Yes its normal, sciatic nerve pain. My first pregnancy I didn't get it til the end but this one I've had it since 6 weeks and I'm 14 weeks now. I'm at my OB now she said its normal and it tends to get worse later in pregnancy. I got prescribed a muscle relaxer and I take it only when its unbearable and I can barely walk.
