I have a question that might be tmi but how long after birth and having a c section did you wait to have sex again? My boyfriend has been going a little crazy and wants to do it but I'm scared. It's only been 4 weeks since my c section.

Part of it is how you are feeling. It's recommended you wait until your 6 week check up but some people heal slower and you may not be ready yet then either. Just go by what feels right for you. Keep reminding him what your body just went through. You don't want to hurt yourself and end up waiting even longer

I know after a Vaginal birth you're supposed to wait 6 weeks.

Vaginal labor is so easy I would rather take the contractions any day than to have to have a c section

I tried (after a vaginal birth) to use a tampon at about 5 weeks. It felt more like I was inserting a steak knife. But maybe it's different with a c section..
