Only second day of pumping, and 5th day of breastfeeding. I'm actually proud of this oz and a half. 😊
pumping too much before supply is regulated I creases a risk of oversupply whch can cause many problems.
I pumped 3 days after the birth and was totally fine, pumping is fine! the lactation specialist head of department had me do it.
My ob said to go ahead and pump because I had a bad blister on my right side. So I feed on the left and pump on the right at the same time usually. This is the first time I've just pumped both sides. @meagansimone @gypsy.soul2
@meagansimone, that's not true. My nurses had me pump after I gave birth because my son wouldn't latch on.
that's great momma.. some people do adhere to the 6 week PP pump but if you're EP & EBF then don't fret.. just be aware of an oversupply euth pumping so soon & how often. .5-1.5 is a normal amount so you're doing ok so far (:
I pump and give the boob. I don't have an oversupply which is what the concern is with most people. I just pump on a super strict schedule to avoid one & so my milk isn't hind milk or foremilk. my milk is starting to regulate too so I'm not needing to pump every 2 hours religiously. . more like every 3 sometimes 4 before I start leaking lol. (: Good luck, if you have any questions or need any help I'm always available! @soldiersgirl0315
