Don't see a point in a birth plan. Guarantee they won't ever go as expected
@rhia, They're typically administered to prevent eye infections vaginally born babies can get from STIs or vaginal infections. I have/had neither, and had been in a monogamous relationship for over a year, so I had no fear of those. Plus, it can cause their eyes to swell, and vision to be blurred. So I opted out.
Oh my goodness props to you! Lol @cookiemonster1216
why no eye drops..(not judging. just curious) @cookiemonster1216
Lolol how long was your labor 😩? @cookiemonster1216
My doctor went by my birth plan. Had a natural nonmedicated birth, no episiotimy, no vitamin C shot, or eye drops after for baby. I had my doula, and everything went according to how I wanted (other than a very long labor lol)
Yeah 😟 my water broke and I went in 4cm dilated and 7 hours later, which was even pushing it because of possible infection, I still hadn't dilated more so I had to go into a c section. I probably won't have another kid. The whole scenario just kinda scarred me because it was my first baby @rhia
My first pregnancy was twins and a scheduled c section but this time I was going to have a vaginal birth..lol jokes on my my body said nope!!! I never dialated had to have another c sectiin I just wanted to cry.
Lol yes after going into a c section unplanned and going thru recovery I will never believe in a birth plan. Plus there is just so many new things you experience I don't see how you can "plan" anything @rhia
I never knew that..thank you for explaining@cookiemonster1216
