I need help! What are necessities for my hospital bag??

My hospital provided me with numbing spray for the stiches and it was life changing. I'm not sure if your hospital would provide it or not but I don't know what I would do without it !!

I am breaking up my necessities so it doesn't seem like an overwhelming amount to read lol... but you will also want to bring some toiletries. Most people don't stay long enough to have to shower (even though you'll want to asap) usually people are discharged within a day or two but sometime people stay longer. we stayed at week and thank God I brought my shower stuff! even though your in a hospital it can still seem stuffy and dirty and showering was my only escape lol

snacks for hubby, hospital food isn't the best and gets expensive. you will be fed after the baby.

oh and also I recommend asking for a breast pump even if you don't intend on using it because they supply you with bottles that you get to keep and you can never have enough bottles!

comfy clothes, an empty bag for all the extra stuff you get from the hospital. they will provide diapers, blankets, pads and underwear for you I asked for extra before being discharged just do I didn't have to worry about rushing to the store the same day plus they are way more absorbant and comfy then regular pads lol

bring any accessories you want baby to have pictures with, they usually take them in the hospital. you have to pay for them but just incase.
