not a good idea.

I think it's what would feel best for you.

To be honest it could take away from the happiness of the new baby. Might make people uncomfortable. But in the end it is what is best for you and what you want.

I agree with @twinscomingsoon It's completely up to you. If it was me I would do something for myself that was more intimate with close family or just yourself. I know no one will want to hurt your feelings since it's a sensitive topic. But if I were attending it would make me uncomfortable/awkward for me. What if you do soemthing seperate? Just my 2 cents though!

I lost Landon July 11th of last year I was 8 months when my placenta gave out... My boys due dates are a week apart... I didn't have a memorial or anything after I lost Landon because I was in so much shock of loosing him so I thought that I could do that with a baby shower for Logan on the same day

I'm very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine, it really hits home being 8 months mysef. What about doing a memorial on his birthday and a shower separately?

Maybe do the memorial the day before in honor of your loss and the next day can be about new beginnings and life!

@lynna0909, that may not be a good idea. my daughter was born ay 28 weeks due to preeclamcia and passed away 10 days after birth. i found out i was pregnant on what would have been her 1year birthday. Allowed both of them the keep their own identity. This is coming from a mom who suffered a loss and completely understands

I think u should honor him alone or with just your family. .I just don't want it to set the tone for the entire party. .like the day before or even right before the party your immediate family get together and release balloons in his honor..at the shower I think you should just be to celebrate this pregnancy. .but whatever u decide it will be special
