I will not be piercing my son's ears. He can do what he pleases after he turns 18!

I'm leaving the choice up to my sons also.

my husband had an earring when he was in high school, I liked it, but I don't see the point in piercing kids ears before they're a few years old. then they can decide if they want it, and you don't have to worry about cleaning and infection and stuff.

I'm considering getting my sons ears pierced

my child regardless of gender can not have them pierced in till they are old enough to clean them. and it is the child's decision if they want it done.

My SO has his ears pierced and so do I. If we were having a girl I would get them done, but since we're having a boy we're not going to. I don't mean to sound sexist at all whatsoever I just don't want him getting confused for a girl LOL

I'm not piercing my sons ears but I wouldn't pierce my girls (when I have her) intill she's ready so it's her choice. Had to get mine done a half a dozen times my first year. Had real gold earring cleaned everyday but just would get infected still have that issue today (runs in the family) so she knows they can get infected & my need them redone & she won't be a baby doing it over & over

Yeah but that's totally my own personal opinion, if someone wants to get their lil mans ears pierced that's none of my business!

@mommyofacountryboy, yeah, everytime she gets jewelry she gets the good stuff. she got my oldest some beautiful gold 18k earrings she haven't worn them yet though lol
