So my OLDER sister moved in with me and my boyfriend when I was about 2 months pregnant. During this time they gave us about 334$ total in rent and the agreement was 400$ a month. The reason we chose such a high amount is because she had a cat that sprayed everywhere because he wasn't fixed, another cat that was fixed, and a pit bull that we're not even allowed to have at the house. Anyway, we asked them to be gone by March so that we could turn their room into a nursery for our son and get everything organized.. My baby shower was March 20th.. Her and her boyfriend are still living here (but not even staying here because we had to kick her dog out because of an eviction notice about 2 weeks ago) she also has 2 kittens from when her cat got my cat pregnant... My cat is pregnant again and they're still here, along with their animals aside from the dog, all my sons things are sitting in my living room, and I am due on April 22nd.. My parents keep saying "that's your sister for ya" and "this is what family does" but this isn't what family does.. Family doesn't use you until you literally have nothing left.. They don't take advantage of each other.. They don't make your last few weeks of pregnancy even more stressful than it already is.. Sorry but I just needed to vent about everything.

Wow WOW no way. I would have made her leave. I mean I totally get that family is family but with her and her animals and not paying you and it just sounds like a bad situation...it would be different if she were respectful of your space and paid you on time!
We've told/asked them to leave multiple times but every time it's a new excuse.. She's even gone as far as telling us they got a house and are waiting for keys to be made but apparently the lady never got the keys made for them and didn't contact them back but if someone was really renting out a home they wouldn't be so unprofessional and just not contact someone back.. She's 23 years old her boyfriend is 27, he has 2 children but my sister has none and threw a fit when I found out I was pregnant.. It's like having 2 little sisters instead of me being the middle child. She finally came and moved a few things out today but only like bedding and movies..
i was in a similar situation but it was before i found out i was pregnant..the lady stayin with us was a drunk and her 12 year old was disrespectful plus we didnt trust her in the house alone after we caught her in a lie so we told her we were movin and she had to be out by the end of the month..desperate times calls for desperate measures
I am so sorry. what an awful postion. you will have even less energy to deal with it when the baby comes. you need to give her a date and put her stuff on the curb.

your baby could come at any time really. I would be very firm and literally give her the ultimatum. What she doesn't get out by such and such day will be someone else's. family is family but there is a line.
