does anyone crochet? is it expensive to start up?

I knit and crochet and that yarn is great. Walmart has a kit with multiple size hooks and a book for beginners that shows some simple techniques

this kind is my fav its so soft but you have to buy a lil more not much on each one if ur making something big. honestly...feel the yarn if its rough the finished product will be rough.

i would but softer yarn for something for baby hold on ill show you one i like they have it at Wal-Mart they also have baby yarn but i never liked that kind so well

@crixxy, yay!!! so you just buy that big thing of "yarn" correct? not the thin yarn but the thick one haha idk what to call it. I really want to make some things , have a hobby lol

i do crochet. its not very expensive at all. mostly depends on the quality of the tools you buy. Wal-Mart has cheap hooks that work great. i learned by watching YouTube videos. i used to sell online as well.

crochet and doing crochet braids are 2 completely different things lol
